Guinness mobilises support for Eagles

Sponsors of the Super Eagles, Guinness Foreign Extra Stout, is mobilising support to ensure that the national team puts up a commendable performance at the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup, which began on Saturday in Brazil.

Also, Guinness Nigeria Plc has concluded broadcast sponsorship arrangements to bring matches from the venues in Brazil live to Nigerians throughout the duration of the tournament courtesy of a recent partnership agreement with Optima Sports Management International.

 The Managing Director, Guinness Nigeria Plc, Mr. Seni Adetu, said, "When we launched the Fly with the Eagles Campaign, we promised our consumers and fans of the Eagles, our continuous support for Nigerian football.

"This time, we are also mobilising support for the team through this partnership. We desire all Nigerian football fans to watch the matches without limitations, particularly matches involving the Eagles and support the team to attain victory at the tournament.

"We are bringing these matches live to Nigerians to further reiterate our commitment in this regard. We are really proud of this partnership. We wish the fans happy viewing and hope the Super Eagles get to the final, probably winning the Cup".

He added that the partnership with OSMI would bring the Confederations cup action to Nigerians on Silverbird Television, African Independent Television and the Nigerian Television Authority.
